I wrote to Debenhams asking for their policy of selling socks in singular form rather than as pairs. Here is their unnacceptable response.

Whilst I appreciate the point you are making, I am afraid that Debenhams
does only stock socks in pairs.

I urge you all to lobby stores such as Debenhams and Marks and Spencer demanding that they stock socks singulary rather than in pairs!
